How to get set up and get the most out of Winking Toad.
Getting started
Create a free account, enter the URL you want to audit, and click Start. The free tier covers up to 100 URLs per crawl — enough to fully audit most small business sites.
Applying fixes directly
Connect a Shopify or WordPress site under Settings to push title, meta description, and content fixes straight to your live site — no manual copy-paste.
- Shopify: Settings → Shopify → enter your shop domain and an Admin API access token.
- WordPress: Settings → WordPress → enter your site URL and an Application Password.
Search Console & PageSpeed
Connect Google Search Console under Settings to cross-reference crawl issues against real click and impression data, so you can prioritize fixes that actually affect traffic.
Billing
Subscriptions are usage-friendly: the crawler, issue detection, and Shopify/WordPress fixes are included with any paid plan. Keyword research, backlinks, and domain overview draw from a shared credit balance. Manage your subscription under Settings → Billing.
